Sei Young Kim Wins BMW Ladies Championship | LPGA Highlights & Analysis (2025)

Sei Young Kim, a decade-long LPGA Tour veteran, ended a five-year drought with a triumphant win at the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea. Her final-round 67 secured a four-stroke victory, marking her 13th career title since joining the tour in 2015. Kim's performance at Pine Beach Golf Links showcased her prowess, as she dropped only one shot at the par-3 third and birdied six holes thereafter, comfortably outpacing her closest rival, Nasa Hataoka. Hataoka, with a final-round 67, finished at 20-under 268, while Celine Boutier and Kim A-lim trailed by two shots in third place. Defending champion Hannah Green and Yealimi Noh shared fifth place with a 17-under 271 score. Lindy Duncan, Choi Hye-jin, and An Na-rin tied for seventh with a 272 score. Jeeno Thitikul, the first multiple winner of the LPGA season, did not play this week but will represent Thailand in the International Crown. The Asian swing continues with two more LPGA events in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Japan.
